macOS Compatibility

Method Rating Notes
Rosetta 2 Perfect Steam version is no longer available to purchase, it functions but cannot connect to online multiplayer.
Compatibility layer
CrossOver Perfect Stable 90 FPS, fluctuates between 90-120 if set to 120 FPS. Game plays perfectly on M1 Pro, performance same on battery or plugged in and SOC never overheats.[4][5][6]
Works with BakkesMod, but settings configuration must be done in DXVK as its GUI does not display in D3DMetal.
Wine Perfect 90 FPS via Steam on Apple Game porting toolkit initial beta[7]
Virtualization
Parallels Playable Playable[8]
