- Comment: The game must be 1.0.43.0 version. If you downloaded any other version different from this one, install the patch https://www.playground.ru/horizon_forbidden_west/file/horizon_forbidden_west_obnovlenie_v1_0_43_0-1689249. After installing the game patch it with "Патч для 1.0.43.0" from this page https://www.playground.ru/horizon_forbidden_west/file/horizon_forbidden_west_f16c_patch_ispravlenie_instruktsii-1688866. For now this is the only way I found to get rid of the requirements of F16C instructions and start the game. I also increased the virtual memory in crossover. To do this run "regedit" - "HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Software - Wine - Direct3D". Create string parameter "VideoMemorySize" and set the value "32768" (You can experiment with this value). So unfortunately the game is not playable at the moment. There are a lot of glitches and periodical crashes and no facial animation. I noticed that at a lower resolution the game is more stable, maybe it has something to do with memory. On www.playground.ru there are newer patches that fixed facial animation but for some reason they didn’t work for me. Whoever wants can experiment with me, maybe there will be a way to run this damn game.
